Sustainability

Sustainability

Cornish Group is one property development company, which is conscious of its impact on the environment and uses world’s best practice sustainability techniques and is a member of the UDIA, a sustainability-focused urban development association. Cornish Group pioneered the use of rain gardens – ‘water quality devices’. In the Spring Farm and Seascape land release developments, Cornish Group is creating and regenerating bushlands, wetlands, rain gardens and wildlife sanctuaries.

To further promote sustainability, no materials have been removed from these sites. The current materials are recycled in road construction; sandstone is reused in retaining walls and landscape features; and soils are being rehabilitated.
Community

Community

Cornish Group believes in community sustainability as much as environmental sustainability and encourages community values through their support and sponsorship of local businesses, sporting teams, charities and community groups.
